Nope, the season isn’t over. About 30,000 people attending the Monaco Yacht show might not agree with me, but they’d be wrong. Otherwise we wouldn’t still be sitting in Naples, waiting for our next charter. But that’s us, see. Gladiatorially ready to go that extra mile. (Is that a word? It is now.)

Soon enough we’ll be heading that way, perhaps a butchers at the Nioulargue on the way past, then on to Barcelona to kick it large once more. In the meantime we’re washing and hoovering and polishing and fixing things. I’m told there’s a competition on the dock between the boats here as to which deck crew can expose the most buttock crevasse. So far it’s Dirks lot on Cuor de Leone, but we haven’t been beaten yet. I’ll let you know the outcome, unless I forget.
