Hello people.. would have written sooner but I’m well aware that no one reads this! Anyway, we’re busy as all hell, as is usual for the time of year.. I think we’re nearly half way through the season. So far so good.. We’re in Brindisi for a couple of days before we head back to Corfu for our 179th charter. Yes, really!
We have been availing ourselves of Antonio’s hospitality once again at Betty’s bar. Which means we’re full of pizza and Nastro Azzurro. Fantastic pizza’s here I tell you. We had bit of a binge the night we arrived, but no one got hurt, so that’s a bonus. Trouble is, when we go out, we all go out, and we fairly destroy everything in our path. So it takes a town with a sense of humour , a hospital and extensive insurance to cope with a crew night out. We’re still waiting to see who comes down with scurvy after leaping off the Rialto bridge in Venice last week.
Now we’re back in charter mode though, for at least a couple of weeks, and I for one am happy to give my liver the time off. (Wine with dinner doesn’t count). We’re still going to have fun though. It’s always fun round our way. From the owners down to the lowliest bilge monkeys, that’s how we roll.
We are, as ever, Keeping it Real…
